资源简介:
One of the most significant minor millet crops in Asia, barnyard millet has seen a significant increase in global production. The two main species of the genus Echinochloa, Echinochloa esculenta and Echinochloa frumentacea, are farmed primarily for human and animal food. Less biotic and abiotic stress can affect them. In comparison to other major grains, barnyard millet grain is a particularly noteworthy source of minerals (iron and zinc), fibre, and carbohydrates. Barnyard millet hasn't gotten enough attention despite being a crop with a number of agronomic and nutritional advantages. Very little attempts have been made in recent years to research this crop's characteristics. Till today, there haven't been any genuinely genome-wide datasets for this species. We have tried to develop a draft genome assembly of Barnyard Millet for the development of SSR markers.
