Genetic and epigenetic gene inactivation coupling with KRAS activation in human gastric cancer [RNA-Seq]

To confirm the differential regulation could occur in gastric epithelial cells as well as fibroblasts, RNA-seq analysis was performed in GES1 cells treated by pLKO lentiviral vectors expressing shRNA against non-target (shNON), TP53, and TGFBR2. Overall design: Immortalized non-neoplastic gastric epithelial cells, GES1, were transfected with pLKO lentiviral vectors against non-target (shNON), TP53, and TGFBR2. GES1 cells were exposed to puromycin for 4 days for selection, and RNA was extracted. RNA-seq analysis was performed using NexSeq.
