samples; log2FoldChange, the log2 fold difference in normalized expression between Atlantic and Mediterranean (Tab. S6a-c) or between Northern and Southern samples (Tab. S6d-f, values > 1 indicate higher expression in Mediterranean/Southern samples); lfcSE, the standard error of the log2 fold difference; stat, the Wald test statistic for differential expression; pvalue, the p-value; padj, the p-value
