Replication Package to \"Funding Contagion Through Common Owners,\" By Borja Larrain, Giorgo Sertsios, and Francisco Urzua

The replication package contains a “Read me” file explaining how to get to the final database from the original Amadeus sample. It also includes the do-file “Tables and Figures July 2023.do,” used to create the figures and tables from the final dataset, along with the log file showing output and figures, “LSU_FundingContagion_2023.log.pdf.” Due to confidentiality issues, we cannot share the data. Instead, we share a Stata data file with (untraceable) ownership and firm identifiers, called: “missing_vals_RCFS_July_2023.dta.” The data preserves the structure, number of observations, and (untraceable) identifiers used in the regression analyses, but has missing values for all other variables. Researchers can generate placebo data using this data structure.
