资源简介:
The influence of social and family factors on adolescent mental health has always been attached great importance. The purpose of the present study was to explore the causal relationship between social support and family functioning during adolescence. Students from two middle schools in Fujian province, China, were recruited as participants. Seven hundred and fifty-four participants completed the questionnaire twice in six-month intervals. The results showed that social support and family functioning could predict each other, and social support had a greater influence on family functioning (β = 0.14). The findings of the present study suggested that social and family influences on adolescents should not be separated when dealing with the mental health problems of adolescents, but their interactions should be considered.
