points and paleoclimatic data to simulate the cultural evolution from Liangzhu to Maqiao period

The cultural evolution from Liangzhu to Maqiao period in the Taihu Lake region were significantly influenced by climatic and environmental changes. We first utilized the site resource domain concept to identify ancient human activity ranges across different periods, then applied a site distribution probability model to quantify settlement preferences of ancient human in Maqiao period, and finally integrated paleoclimatic data to construct a Maxent-CA-Markov coupled model. This model was used to simulate the cultural dynamics from Middle Liangzhu to Late Liangzhu and Early Maqiao periods
