Inference statistics for the interaction intensity change (rising vs. falling) with carrier frequency (complex vs. white noise) of sustained fields (Figs 2 and 3), and for second-level t-tests on source localisation results (Fig 4).

All results are significant at a threshold of p < .05, corrected for family wise error at the cluster level across the entire scalp and trial duration, across the scalp, or across the brain volume, respectively. No other results survived whole-brain correction.
