We have compared gene expression profiling by RNA sequencing and exon-resolution microarrays to determine the impact of analysis platform on clinically relevant transcriptomic subtyping frameworks. These samples represent a subset of the total series analyzed. Overall design: This series consists of 3 new colorectal cancer tissue samples analyzed on Affymetrix Human Transcriptome 2.0 Arrays and reanalysis of 123 GSMs from GSE24550, GSE29638, GSE69182 and GSE96528 performed on HTA_2.0 or HuEx-1_0-st Affymetrix arrays and analyzed with the platform-specific BrainArray version 22 GENECODEG custom CDF.
