This file is a best fit lookup between 2021 middle layer super output areas, electoral wards/divisions and local authority districts in England and Wales as at 2nd May 2024. (File Size - 1.56 MB) Field Names - MSOA21CD, MSOA21NM, MSOA21NMW, WD24D, WD24NM, WD24NMW, LAD24CD, LAD24NM, LAD24NMW Field Types - Text, Text, Text, Text, Text, Text, Text, Text, Text Field Lengths - 9, 39, 28, 9, 53, 45, 9, 35, 24 This file published on 26th June 2024 is updated on 12th December 2025 to correct ward allocation of: MSOA21 E02004415 being reassigned to Ward (WD24) (E05011636) instead of E05011627. MSOA21 E02004486 being reassigned to Ward (WD24) (E05004098) instead of E05004109. The erroneous allocation was due to boundary refinement work conducted by Ordnance Survey.
