Italy: main destinations knitted and crocheted apparel 2013-2018, by macro-region

In 2018, Western Europe was the main destination for knitted and crocheted apparel products exported from Italy. In fact, according to the data provided by Prometeia, the share of export value addressed to Western Europe decreased from 64 percent in 2013 to 61.7 percent in 2018. Over the period under consideration, the share of export of knitted and crocheted apparel products addressed to Asian countries increased significantly, growing from 10.6 percent to 14.8 percent of the total.
