A price survey conducted across all supermarkets nationwide revealed that the average price for 100g of beef was 888 yen in October 2024. Over the period from January 2015 to October 2024 (a span of 118 months), October 2024 was the month with the highest beef price at 888 yen in supermarkets across the nation, while February 2015 was the month with the lowest price at 765 yen. The price difference between the peak (October 2024) and the lowest (February 2015) value periods for beef across the national area was 123.0124 yen.
