<b>Project title</b>: PMACS-15<b>Grant Information:</b> AHA Grant 9TPA34910007, Regulatory role of pericardial macrophages in myocardial infarction<b>Project Description:</b>· Animal Model: Myocardial Infarction· Animal Age: 8-12 Weeks· Animal Sex: Male· Animal Strain: C57B6/J· Number: 6 mice· Groups: 3 chlodronate liposome injection, 3 empty liposome injections, all infarctions· Experimental Conditions: Mice were given MI via LAD ligation alongside intrapericardial injection of chlodronate loaded liposomes. Animals were sacrificed at day 21 post-infarction or sham surgery.
