Introduction: The Rock-Paper-Scissors SXSW Series Dataset is a crowdsourced hand gesture image dataset comprising 7,521 unique hand gesture images. Exported from Roboflow on March 15, 2024, it follows the TensorFlow Object Detection API format. All images have been resized to 640×640 pixels, and underwent real-time data augmentation operations including flipping and cropping to boost model robustness. The dataset encompasses three clearly defined categories: Rock, Paper, and Scissors. It is sourced from the 2023 SXSW World's Largest Rock-Paper-Scissors Game, integrates open-source captured data and manually annotated samples, and has been fully processed via automated preprocessing pipelines.
