Genomic Landscape of Asian Myelodysplastic Syndrome

The primary objective of this study is to elucidate the overall genomic landscape of MDS based on both classification systems of WHO, WHO 2016 and WHO 2022, using targeting DNA sequencing.The study has sequenced of a total of 1225 MDS patients from three different medical centers (Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore). In this multicenter cohort study of the Asian Myeloid Working Group, the hematological, cytogenetic and molecular landscape of Asian MDS patients has been utilized to develop a new prognostic model for MDS. This model is called the Asian Prognostic Scoring System (APSS) and a web calculator of such is available online at https://medicine-intranet.hku.hk/mds/index.html.
