野核桃(Juglans regia L.)被认为是新元古代第三纪森林的孑遗物种,也是一种重要经济和药用价值的树种,其坚果和木材质量均受到高度重视。野核桃自然栖息地主要分布在亚洲大陆的山区,作为一种野生栽培物种,对其遗传特性相关研究具有重要的意义。本数据研究了新疆伊犁地区的32个野核桃样本进行全基因组重测序,深入探讨了这些样本的遗传结构、群体分化、基因流和遗传多样性。数据集包括基因组组装文件(fastaq格式)。此研究对于野核桃种质资源的保护、利用和未来的育种策略具有重要意义,同时也为理解人类如何影响作物的遗传多样性和分布提供了宝贵的见解。
Juglans regia L. is regarded as a relict species from the Neoproterozoic and Tertiary forests, and it is also a tree species with significant economic and medicinal values, whose nut and wood quality are highly valued. The natural habitats of wild Juglans regia L. are mainly distributed in mountainous areas of the Asian continent. As a wild-cultivated species, studies on its genetic characteristics are of great significance. This study performed whole-genome resequencing on 32 wild Juglans regia L. samples collected from the Yili region of Xinjiang, and conducted in-depth investigations into the genetic structure, population differentiation, gene flow and genetic diversity of these samples. The dataset includes genome assembly files in fastq format. This research holds great importance for the conservation, utilization and future breeding strategies of wild Juglans regia L. germplasm resources, and also provides valuable insights into understanding how humans affect the genetic diversity and distribution of crops.
