Sea surface temperatures and sea surface salinities in the quasi-equilibrium hosing simulation

This dataset contains monthly-averaged model output of sea surface temperature (SST) and sea surface salinity (SSS) for the quasi-equilibrium hosing simulation. The simulations are performed with the Community Earth System Model (CESM, version 1.0.5) under fixed pre-industrial forcing conditions. The model output is provided on the native T-ocean grid. All files start from January and there are no leap years (February = 28 days). When you are using this dataset, please refer to this Zenodo repository and the following publication: van Westen et al.
