Flickr-Face

The Flickr-Face dataset was developed by researchers at Samsung AI Cambridge. It is a large-scale unannotated facial dataset obtained by downloading images from Flickr and filtering out valid facial samples with a face detector. Containing approximately 1.79 million facial images, this dataset is utilized for unsupervised pre-training to learn general facial representations. The dataset creation process is straightforward, mainly relying on automated image downloading and face detection technologies. The Flickr-Face dataset has broad application prospects across various facial analysis tasks, including face recognition, face alignment, emotion recognition and more, with the goal of enhancing the accuracy of facial analysis models when training data is limited.
