Diverse histological profiles have emerged from the inbred MMTV-Myc mouse model, with unique transcriptional profiles closely associating with each histological profile. To assess the genomic underpinnings of these transcriptional differences between histological profiles, whole genome sequencing was performed on three tumors each from microacinar, squamous, and EMT histologies. The purpose of this study is to identify analogous genetic events and transcriptional pathways in human breast cancer.
