This dataset provides fluorescence microscopy images from BMDM macrophages (mouse bone marrow-derived macrophages) infected with Leishmania major. When extracting the Leishmania dataset.zip file, three main folders appear: Training, Validation and Test. Within the first two main folders there are two secondary folders: Original_images and another folder with Annotation to detect three cell categories, Amastigotes, Infected Macrophages and Total Macrophages. In the main folder Test there are two secondary folders, Original_images with MOIs different and another folder with Count generated from the manual counting of three experts.

本数据集提供了感染**利什曼原虫（Leishmania major）**的小鼠骨髓源巨噬细胞（bone marrow-derived macrophages，简称BMDM）的荧光显微镜图像。解压该Leishmania数据集压缩包后，将得到三个主文件夹：**训练集（Training）、验证集（Validation）与测试集（Test）**。其中前两个主文件夹内均包含两个次级文件夹：**原始图像文件夹（Original_images）**，以及用于检测三类细胞的**标注文件夹（Annotation）**，这三类细胞分别为**无鞭毛体（Amastigotes）、感染巨噬细胞（Infected Macrophages）与总巨噬细胞（Total Macrophages）**。在**测试集（Test）**主文件夹下则包含两个次级文件夹：**原始图像文件夹（Original_images）**，其内图像对应不同的感染复数（Multiplicity of Infection，MOIs），以及由三位专家手动计数生成的**计数文件夹（Count）**。
