CURRENT - DIRECTION and Other Data from UNKNOWN From TOGA Area - Pacific (30 N to 30 S) from 19900110 to 19901008 (NODC Accession 9100023)

Model-based analyses of thermal/salinity conditions in the TOGA Area - Pacific (30 N to 30 S) Ocean between January 10, 1990 and October 8, 1990. The model was developed by Dr. Ants Leetmaa of the Climate Analysis Center, National Weather Service, Camp Springs, MD. The area covered is 120E to 070W and 045S to 055N. This thermal/salinity based Ocean Circulation analysis model is being used at the Climate Analysis Center to provide monthly hindcasts of oceanographic conditions in the tropical pacific.
