The Bioinformatics Landscape in Greek Environmental omics, ELIXIR-GR Pilot Action: Marine.

Α nation-wide survey to gather data on the bioinformatics landscape (practices, needs, opinions) relevant to omic research on non-model organisms. Within the broader scope of coordinating the network and identifying collaborating partners among Institutes based on their common needs and directions, the main goals of the study were the following: i. to identify the community of researchers involved in environmental omics projects and increasingly using bioinformatics ; ii. to map bioinformatics practices, views and and gaps; iii. to build awareness on ELIXIR-provided resources so as to engage a wider community of researchers in the Greek node; iv. to inform on current good practices related to data and metadata (FAIR, preregistration etc.)
