Effects of polystyrene microplastics on the health of zebrafish including gut microbiota.

This study aimed to investigate the gender-specific effects of PS microplastics on the health of zebrafish and explore correlation between multi tissue toxic effects. The results showed the gender-specific effects of microplastics on freshwater fish, which further help clarify the potential effects of microplastics on freshwater ecosystem stability and health.
