Azotobacter salinestris strain:AZT_41 Genome sequencing

This bacterial strain, obtained from agricultural field soil across Raichur, has been identified as a Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) due to its capacity to enhance plant growth and improve plant health. Notably, it demonstrates anti-fungal activity, prompting its isolation, morphological characterization, and biochemical analysis. The focus of our investigation was to elucidate the genetic basis of its antifungal properties. Consequently, Whole Genome Sequencing was conducted on this bacterial strain, followed by comprehensive gene annotation.
