Original data of the development of Modern Junzi Personality Scale

There are six documents in this dataset, including the supplementary material and original statistics in my studies of the development of Modern Junzi Personality Scale (MJPS). The primary findings in my research involve:
1) There were five distinct but interrelated factors (spiritual, moral, behavioral, emotional and cognitive domain) in the structure of MJP among Chinese adult people.
2) The factors of modern junzi personality were highly correlated with the contents of the ancient junzi personality from Confucius' thoughts.
3) The factors of modern junzi personality had a negative correlation with the factor of "Neuroticism" and positive correlations with the other factors ("Agreeableness", "Consciousness", "Extraversion" and "Openness") of the Chinese big-five personality model.

本数据集包含六份文件，其中包括本研究中关于现代君子人格量表（MJPS）发展之补充材料及原始统计数据。本研究的主要发现包括：1）在中国成年人的MJP结构中，存在五个相互关联但各具特色的因素（精神、道德、行为、情感及认知领域）。2）现代君子人格的要素与孔子思想中的古代君子人格内容高度相关。3）现代君子人格的要素与“神经质”因素呈负相关，与其他因素（“宜人性”、“意识”、“外向性”及“开放性”）呈正相关，这些因素均属于中国五大人格模型。” }
