This dataset, termed the LHC Physics Dataset, is designed for unsupervised new physics detection at 40 MHz and was developed by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). It comprises 8,209,492 event records, primarily sourced from proton-proton collision data acquired at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). During its curation, simulated real-time processing pipelines were utilized to filter collision events containing electrons or muons. This dataset aims to support the development of novel event selection strategies, evaluate their sensitivity to new physical phenomena, and is particularly suitable for algorithm optimization in real-time event selection systems.
