Using a digitized road layer, and Terrainwork's Netmap HUC-8 streamline data for the Yakutat area, we noted all intersections of the road and stream. Then based on a 30 meter buffer from these generated points to all known culvert documentation in the area we removed any that appeared duplicative, and moved on with the analysis with those appearing undocumented.</span><div style='font-family:&quot;Avenir Next W01&quot;, &quot;Avenir Next W00&quot;, &quot;Avenir Next&quot;, Avenir, &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, sans-serif; font-size:16px;'><br /></div><div style='font-family:&quot;Avenir Next W01&quot;, &quot;Avenir Next W00&quot;, &quot;Avenir Next&quot;, Avenir, &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, sans-serif; font-size:16px;'>Using Netmap habitat tools and swimming/ rearing characteristics of coho salmon, we were then able to find the upstream extent of anadromy from the culvert through a 12% gradient over 100 meter stream reach representing a gradient barrier, and using Romey et al Habitat Intrinsic Potential Model we further prioritize with the models summations of quality upstream habitat.</div>
