CONTEMPORARY METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE THEORY OF INDIVIDUAL STYLE: LINGUOPOETIC, COGNITIVE, AND COMMUNICATIVE APPROACHES

This article examines the formation and development of the theory of individual style in Uzbek linguistics. It analyzes the scholarly views of Uzbek linguists on the phenomenon of individual style and highlights its linguostylistic, linguopoetic, communicative, and cognitive dimensions. Particular attention is paid to the concept of idiostyle as a reflection of the author's linguistic personality, artistic thinking, aesthetic vision, and national-cultural worldview. The study also discusses contemporary methodological approaches to the investigation of individual style and their significance in the linguistic analysis of literary texts.
