资源简介:
Immune system plays a dual role in cancer by either targeting or supporting neoplastic cells at various stages of disease, including metastasis. Yet, the exact immune-related transcriptome profiles of breast cancer cells and their evolution during dissemination remain undiscovered. This study aimed at exploring immune-related transcriptomic landscape of primary tumors and lymph node metastasis of chemotherapy-naïve breast cancer patients. This data set consists of immune-related gene expression profiles of 35 primary tumors and 11 matched lymph node metastases, derived from 35 breast cancer patients treated at Medical University of Gdańsk, Poland, between 2010 and 2013. Total RNA was extracted from FFPE material, pre-amplified using nCounter Low RNA Input Kit and subsequently analyzed using NanoString nCounter System (NanoString Technologies) and dedicated PanCancer Immune Profiling Panel.
