This dataset accompanies the manuscript "Rethinking Electrokinetic Signals Before Earthquakes: Insights from Finite-Fault Modeling". This study presents a series of numerical simulations designed to investigate the spatiotemporal evolution of electrokinetic signals generated by finite-fault sources in layered poroelastic media. The dataset contains numerical simulation results generated in this study. The results are organized into multiple datasets stored in MATLAB .mat files, which can be directly loaded and analyzed in MATLAB. The figure captions within these files are consistently numbered with those in the main text for ease of cross-referencing. Each dataset corresponds to a specific modeling scenario described in the manuscript, including variations in source configuration, fault geometry, and parameter settings used to investigate the spatiotemporal evolution of electrokinetic signals.
