General use and knowledge of payment through pre-registered bank details France 2019

As online shopping and thus the use of online payment methods has drastically increased in the past years, a survey conducted by the Electronic Business Group in 2019, wanted to assess the French awareness and use of a bank-transfer payment type with pre-registered bank details. Thus, a total of 57 percent of respondents in France were well aware of the possibility of making payments via pre-registered bank details, and were also making use of it. On the other hand, less than five percent of respondents were not aware of this payment method.
