Dietary Asiaticoside supplementation significantly reduced the abdominal fat rate, liver TG, serum TG and serum LDL-C (P<0.05). Asiaticoside inhibited the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, down-regulated genes related to lipid synthesis and promoted the expression of genes related to lipolysis. Compared with the control group, the diversity of cecal microflora was increased. Furthermore, Oscillospira and Ruminococcu in the cecal flora of chicken were decreased, while Bacteroides and Blautia were increased.
