Qualitative and quantitative data was collected between January 2021 and May 2021 on various English and German web-forums for people with a sexual attraction to children (B4U-ACT, BoyChat, Virtuous Pedophiles, VisionsofAlice, jungsforum, krumme13, kinder-im-herzen). The dataset contains 360 cases.
Preregistration: The materials, procedures, and analyses in this paper were pre-registered. The pre-registration and the study material was uploaded to Open Science Framework in January, 2021 before the start of the data collection and can be found in the related materials.
The study was approved by the Board for Research Ethics at Åbo Akademi.
Only quantative data is available in Surveybanken, to guard participants' identites.
