Example data and metadata descriptions for Griskompassen: a DECIDE tool

This record contains example datasets for the Griskompassen (available at 10.5281/zenodo.20643426), which was developed within the EU Horizion 2020 project DECIDE. The metadata file (Metadata Griskompassen.xslx) is an Excel file with one tab for each data table used in the tool, an for each catalogue used by categorical variables in those tables. The example datasets (contained within the example_data.zip file) include: counties.gpkg: A geopackage file containing geographical polygon data of the counties of Sweden (source: Eurostat). Corresponds to the "table.counties" tab in the metadata file. Herd.csv: A comma-separated file of pig production data. Corresponds to the "table.production" tab in the metadata file. medeltal_2023.csv: A comma-separated file of annual national averages of key pig production indicators. Corresponds to the "table.production.indicators" tab in the metadata file. slaughter_data.csv: A comma-separated file of slaughter inspection data. Corresponds to the "table.slaughterhouse" tab in the metadata file. weather.csv: A comma-separated file of weather observation data (source: Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute). Corresponds to the "table.weather" tab in the metadata file. N.B.: while variable and column names are in English, most of the data values are in Swedish.
