资源简介:

The objective of this study was to measure survival of asymbiotic and Wolbachia-infected females and asymbiotic males and females during an infection by the Invertebrate iridescent virus 31 (IIV-31, or Iridovirus armadillidium1) to test (i) a potential effect of Wolbachia and (ii) a sexual dimorphism in response to the viral infection. Females surviving better than males, measures about immune parameters (hemocyte concentration and viability, bacterial and viral load) were performed to see if the survival difference could be explained by tolerance- or resistance-based mechanisms. The three datasets (Tables S1-S3, described below) were collected using a total of 369 Armadillidium vulgare individuals. Tables refer to: Monitoring of symptoms apparition and progression over the woodlice body (Table S1); Survival monitoring of asymbiotic males, asymbiotic females and Wolbachia-infected females (Table S2); Measures of immune parameters in asymbiotic males and females (hemocyte concentration and viability, bacterial and viral load; Table S3) The three corresponding R scripts were used for data analyses. The PDF file contains supplementary figures cited in the article (Figures S1-S4).
