DTC is the niche of GSCs in C. elegans. To pursue how DTC senses and responds to the loss of GSCs, we isolated DTCs from WT worms and glp-1 mutants (genetic germline ablation) and profiled their transcriptomes. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for Distal Tip Cells (DTCs).
