资源简介:
This repository contains human, behavioural data acquired between August 2022 and March 2023. Data was collected using a robotic manipulandum (3BOT constraint to two dimensions). This robotic arm could trace participants' hand-position (via a handle) in a plane, and introduce forces (on that handle). Participants were asked to make forward reaches of 12 cm. The reaches were perturbed in a spontaneous recovery paradigm. In this paradigm, after a baseline phase, reaches are perturbed in one direction for many encounters (e.g. hand pushed to the left). After this reaches are perturbed in the opposite direction for a few encounters (e.g. hand pushed to the right). In the following phase the spontaneous recovery was probed by giving no error feedback to the participant (hand was forced to a straight path), and compensatory forces were measured. Participants encountered the spontaneous recovery task twice. Once while doing a memory task, and once while doing a vowel counting (control) task. The memory task was introduced in two levels of complexity (recognition and recall). The direction of the forces, the order of the tasks and the difficulty of the task were counterbalanced/ randomly assigned. This collection contains the reach data, the memory and vowel counting data, and the demographic information.
