PXRF Data for Eight Andesite Quarries Cusco Peru

This Excel file contains pXRF data collected from samples from 8 andesite quarries in the region of Cusco, Peru that were utilized by the Inka. The dataset comes from four quarries considered major quarries (Rumiqolqa, Cheqoq, Juchuy Qosqo, and Huaccoto) and four minor quarries (Tipón, Chokepukio, Pisaq, and Ccaccaqqollo). Data were collected with an Evident Vanta pXRF instrument and an Olympus/Innovx Delta instrument. The instruments were calibrated using a set of pressed powder geostandards. The data include elemental concentrations in ppm and the ratios of the elements Sr/Zr and Sr/Rb.
