资源简介:
Your project description Background: Changes in gut microbiota have been shown in patients after Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery. However, the role of microbiota modifications in weight loss and improvement of comorbidities are not clear. Objective: In this project, we performed fecal microbiota transplantation in germfree mice with pre-operative and 12 months post-operative fecal samples of one human donor. The goals are 1) to examine the causal role of surgery-associated microbiota in the body weight and glucose metabolism and 2) to test whether the quality of diet (chow, high fat, cellulose and inulin diet) is a influencing factor to metabolic outcomes of mice under a pre- or post-surgery microbiota.
