<i>Allium grayi</i> Regel polyploid

<i>Allium grayi</i> Regel is a seasonally limited small perennial herb of the subfamily <i>Allioideae</i>, and is endemic to Matsu,Taiwan. This whole plants of <i>Allium grayi</i> Regel holds nutritious, ornamental value, and biological pharmacological activity. Since its bulb size ranges from 1 to1.5 cm, this study evaluated for the first time to induce polyploidy using the bulbs of <i>Allium grayi</i> Regel as explants in vitro, with the expectation of increasing the bulb size.格雷韭（*Allium grayi* Regel）是葱亚科（Allioideae）中一类受季节限制的小型多年生草本植物，为中国台湾马祖地区特有物种。该物种全株兼具营养、观赏价值与生物药理活性。其鳞茎尺寸仅为1至1.5厘米，本研究首次以格雷韭的鳞茎作为外植体开展离体多倍体诱导实验，以期增大其鳞茎体积。
