WASH KAP in New Nyarugusu Camp - April 2021

This dataset was collected as part of the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) survey in the New Nyarugusu Camp in Western Tanzania. This survey is intended to generate an understanding of the communities' level of knowledge, attitudes and practices gained through WASH interventions in the camps and project performance indicators measurements. As of the survey period, New Nyarugusu camp was accommodating about 50.000 refugees, asylum seekers and others of concern to UNHCR. The questionnaire followed UNHCR WASH standard methodology, translated into both English and Kiswahili. Enumerators used Kiswahili version, translation into Kirundi carried out when interviewing respondents who did not understand Swahili.
