Induced Interferon response in mouse embryonic stem cells by overexpression of MDA5

During early development mammalian cells lack the most important antiviral response, the interferon response. In an effort to uncover the mechanism that regulates the interferon response during early development and rationale for shutting down this crucial antiviral response, we induced the inferon response in mouse embryonic stem cells and and evaluated its effect on pluripotency and differentiation. An interferon response was induced and RNAseq data of the transcriptome at four different timepoints of two different inducible clones and wild type cells was collected.
