Analysis of the mouse gut microbiome under high-fat and standard diet. Mice considered were (C57BL/6J wild-type and deleted for protein Padi4 gene). Standard diet (4RF21; Mucedola, Milan, Italy) 68% of the calories derive from carbohydrates, 23.5% from proteins and 8.5% from fat. High-fat diet (E D12492, Ssniff, Soest, Germany) 60% of calories came from fat, 21% from carbohydrates, 19% from proteins.
