Prefectural-level disaster resilience indicators (2015–2019) and flood losses under the 50-year return period in Hunan and Hubei Provinces, China

This dataset includes disaster resilience indicator data for Hunan and Hubei Provinces, China, as well as flood loss data under the 50-year return period scenario. The resilience indicators consist of prefectural-level data from 2015 to 2019, covering five dimensions: social, economic, ecological, infrastructure, and flood-control resilience. In total, 30 indicators are included. The flood loss data refer to the population, economic, and crop losses at the prefectural level under the 50-year return period flood scenario, as assessed by Yan et al. (2025) (Reference: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.accre.2024.12.008).
