Burkholderia pseudomallei strain:CM000113 Genome sequencing and assembly

B. pseudomallei CM000113 strain was isolated from a 58-year-old male patient having clinical manifestations of bronchial asthma and was presented to our tertiary care centre at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, Karnataka, India. Recently, he was also diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension and was on treatment.Chest X-ray showed bilateral multiple cavities with emphysema and right sided pleural effusion. There were enlarged perihilar lymph nodes. Cytology of the effusion fluid revealed its exudative type. A biological sample was collected from his sputum, and after laboratorial analysis the B. pseudomallei strain detected and isolated.
