The data contain the experiences of selected Kenyan film audience of slow cinema. The data was conducted through a web survey and at the time of data collection, no such study had been conducted within a Kenyan cinema context. The data could be useful to researchers interested in film audience analyses, examining the situatedness of slow cinema in an African (Kenyan) context, and understanding how a film audience visualizes and interpretes difficult cinema.
