RNA-seq of plasmacytoid dendritic cells stimulated by TLR3, TLR4, TLR7 and TLR8

Plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) are a rare type of dendritic cells that exist antiviral functions in response to toll-like receptors (TLRs). We here report TLR4 activated pDCs similar to TLR7/8 stimulation. Despite the high resemblance, we found the unique genes that were activated by TLR4 activation. To investigate the plasmacytoid dentritic cells (pDCs) activation by toll-like receptors (TLRs), we either unstimulated (UNS) or stimulated CAL-1, PMDC05 and THP-1 cell lines with CL097, FLA, LPS, or PLOY, and then measure gene expression with RNA-seq.
