EU Benchmarks Data

Our BMR dataset can support investors in meeting the regulatory requirements of the EU Climate Transition Benchmarks, EU Paris-Aligned Benchmarks and sustainability-related disclosure requirements for benchmarks with ESG factors.

Sustainalytics can help index providers and benchmark administrators meet mandatory reporting and disclosure obligations while enabling them to screen companies on their eligibility for inclusion in EU Climate Benchmarks. In addition, Morningstar Indexes offers a range of sustainable investing index solutions that are compliant with EU benchmark regulation. The dataset contains Sustainalytics data fields relevant to the requirements.

The dataset is accompanied by the EU Benchmarks Mapping file, which contains the complete list of requirements with the relevant Sustainalytics data fields mapped to those requirements as well as methodology descriptions to support disclosure requirements.

Depending on the user’s license with Sustainalytics, EU Benchmarks Data could be leveraged both to inform the construction of new benchmarks, as well as for the mandatory disclosures specified in the benchmarks regulation.
