We examined the effects of land use change and its legacy along a tropical stream by comparing seasonal patterns of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) / colored dissolved organic matter (CDOM) in relation to variations in bacterial diversity and functioning in Houay Pano cacthment, Lao.
Stream water samples were collected along the stream. DOC/CDOM was measured. Land use change and soil type data was collected between 2012 and 2015.
