In this study, we sequenced the P. striata mitogenome of and obtained new mitochondrial data of Porcellanidae. We analyzed a number of features of P. striata, including AT-skew, a codon usage bias etc. In addition, this study provides mitogenomic data for further studies on the evolution history of Galatheoidea.
