Electron microscopy of a TAp73 knockout mouse testis is shown. Knockout mice show defective cell-cell junctions of the blood-testis barrier on a large scale. Junctions show misplaced and disorderly arrangements of thinned actin bundles, losing the aligned opposing position and orientation. Instead, actin bundles appear ‘offset’.
